A short note on Ask Jose.

Ask Jose is a conversational interface for exploring Jose's published work. This page explains what happens when you use it and what information is collected around the site.

What happens when you ask a question

Your question and the conversation context needed to answer it are sent to the AI service that powers Ask Jose. The assistant uses that context together with Jose's approved published material to generate a response.

What this site keeps

The site keeps a limited operational record of Ask Jose turns: a redacted version of the latest question, a hashed version used for reporting, a temporary session identifier, and response metadata such as status, timing, and source count. The redaction covers common email addresses, phone numbers, and bearer tokens; it is not a guarantee that every sensitive detail will be removed.

Please do not share sensitive information

Please avoid entering passwords, private client or employer information, financial details, health information, or anything else you would not want sent to an AI service. Ask Jose is intended for questions about the published site and Jose's professional work.

Analytics and service providers

The site uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for basic traffic and performance measurement. Ask Jose operational records are stored in the site's analytics database. The AI service receives the information needed to generate your answer.
